Tuesday morning songwriting session

Hello! I’m doing great.

I’ve been busy making new music and I’m enjoying that.

Moikka! Mulle kuuluu hyvää.

Oon tehnyt ajan kanssa uutta musaa ja se on ihanaa. 

On Sunday my love left for a three-month-long trip to Asia. Last week we spent lovely time together and had a Christmas date, which has become an annual tradition. Gladly I’m going to visit him in Asia in January.

Mun rakas lähti sunnuntaina Aasiaan reissaamaan kolmeksi kuukaudeksi. 

Viime viikolla vietettiin ihanaa aikaa yhdessä ja käytiin joulutreffeillä, joista on 

tullut jo perinne. Onneksi mäkin lähden Aasiaan sen luo tammikuussa.

Last view days I’ve spent time with my parents and 

we did some Christmas decorating.

Both of my home theatres are having auditions very soon!

I have met some of my closest friends in these theatres and I’m so happy that I 

have places like these where I can share my passion with amazing and talented 

people who I can also call my community. Among making good friendships 

I have of course been able to be part of many great performances.

Road trip

On Tuesday night I got back from an amazing road trip. I had a wonderful time 

with my love. First we drove our car to a ferry (which I had never done before) and traveled to Tallinn. From there we drove to Pärnu and after that we continued 

to Latvia. Riga was just lovely! We spent most of our time there. 

This trip was a perfect getaway.

Palasin tiistaiyönä ihanalta automatkalta, jolla olin kultani kanssa. Matkattiin ensin auton kanssa laivalla Tallinnaan, josta ajettiin Pärnun kautta Latviaan. 

Riika oli aivan ihana kaupunki ja siellä vietettiin eniten aikaa. 

Reissu oli täydellinen irtiotto kiireestä.

Peace of mind

Last night was the last performance of the music production Heinäkuu 

at Kellariteatteri. I had a lot of fun onstage and backstage throughout this performance season and I’m so grateful that I got to work with these amazing and talented people. We created a beautiful performance. This was one of my favorite theatre productions for a while because of this amazing music which we all 

gave our souls and all our time and effort to. It was a good journey.

When I decided to be a part of this production I wasn’t sure at all of what will 

happen but I wanted to try anyway. Now I’m happy I worked so hard for this. 

I’ve been composing a lot. I composed my solo song about a week before the premiere in the middle of the night when I was tired of working with the other 

songs that were already been decided to be a part of our performance. I love the way

my solo song came out. I’m happy to perform it to anyone who wants to hear it.

I’m so excited that in couple of days I will be able to sit on a porch 

at somewhere beautiful and start bringing my old and new ideas to alive 

with my singing and ukulele in peace out of all this hustle.

Eilen oli Heinäkuu -musaprokkiksen viimeinen esitys Kellariteatterilla. 

Mulla oli hauskaa lavalla ja lavan takana koko esityskauden ajan ja oon
 kiitollinen, että sain työskennellä niin loistavien ja lahjakkaiden tyyppien kanssa. Saatiin aikaan upea esitys. Tää oli mun suosikki teatteriprojekti vähään aikaan, koska tehtiin niin mielettömän ihanaa musiikkia. Annettiin kaikkemme 

biisien työstämiselle ja jutun kokoamiselle. Tää oli hieno matka.

Kun päätin lähteä juttuun mukaan, en osannut ollenkaan odottaa, 

mitä tästä tulisi, mutta halusin kuitenkin yrittää. Nyt oon tosi tyytyväinen, 

että tein tän eteen niin paljon töitä. Oon tehnyt hurjasti sävellystyötä. Tein oman soolobiisini esitykseen vain viikkoa ennen ensi-iltaa keskellä yötä, kun olin väsynyt muiden esitykseen jo valittujen biisien työstämiseen. Pidän tästä mun biisistä 

tosi paljon ja esitän sen mielelläni kaikille, jotka sen haluavat kuulla.

Ihanaa, että muutaman päivän päästä voin istua jossain kauniissa paikassa 

kuistilla ja herättää eloon sekä vanhoja että uusia ideoita laulullani 

ja ukulelellani ihan rauhassa kaukana tästä kaikesta hulinasta.

I’m all goose bumps because I have composed some wonderful things lately. 

Last night I couldn’t sleep because the melody and the lyrics just popped out 

even when I was already under my blanket and had closed my eyes. 

The need to create is such a distressing but still so fantastic feeling.

Oon ihan kananlihalla, kun oon säveltänyt niin kivoja juttuja viime aikoina. 

Viime yönä en malttanut mennä nukkumaan, kun melodiaa ja teksitä vaan putkahteli vielä sillonkin, kun olin ehtiny jo peiton alle ja laittanut 

silmät kiinni. Luomisen pakko on ahdistavan ihana tunne!
